Francesco Albani or Albano (1578 – 1660) was an Italian Baroque artist who was born in Bologna, he was refered to be realated to Bolognese school of painting. He was a pupil of famous artist Dennis Calvaert, with whom he known many other well-known painters like Guido Reni.
Albani’s art style was developing in the school and he went to Rome where he created many famous artworks. After the stay in Rome he was asked to visit Northern Italy for a portrait order. He also created lots of Mythological paintings there which including dance of the amorini, diana and actaeon, galatea on the sea and many more. Albani had many famous pupils too, including his brother Giovanni Battista Albani and Andrea Sacchi.
